Backstage Strategies
to Shine Onstage
Power Up the
Pre-Performance Minutes
Powerful Content in this Workshop

Building Confidence
Dancing with confidence is the single most important element for a successful performance. What can a teacher do in just 3 minutes to ensure strong confidence?

Brain Integration
Our best potential ONLY is available when our two brain hemispheres are working together for a full brain state and in a "Performance State".

Language Choices
As a teacher, what you do and do not say in those last moments will have a deep impact on the mental/emotional and brain state of the dancers, so tread carefully.

Building Community
For any group dances, ensuring the dancers feel connected before going onstage will make a massive difference in performance.

Use of Imagery
The power of imagery is that it can be full bodied and very time efficient and therefore perfect fo those backstage minutes.

Embodiment
The state and degree of the dancer's embodiment will either enhance or lessen the on stage performance to come.
