The Radiant Dance Teacher:

Mariah-Jane Thies

Mariah-Jane has 35 years experience as a dance teacher, including 10 years as a studio owner.  She is an RAD Registered teacher, mentor and supervisor as well as a certified Evans Laban based modern teacher. 

She loves creating and working with imagery and linking up great learning, functional anatomy and creativity.  

After suffering from an ankle injury at 10 (jumping rope on the playground) she has been on a mission to truly recover fully including re-lifting the arch!  She also has been challenged by hyperextended knees!  Both of these issues are now resolved and she is excited to continue sharing these strategies with teachers and students.
