While it may seem that the knees are vulnerable to over use and injury, the real cause of discomfort is simply not understanding how they function.   Your knees are not a simply hinge joint.  There are rotations and counter-rotations happening through the whole leg with the knee playing the intermediary.  That means that often the cuing we give ourselves is the problem.  We are often inadvertently blocking the proper function.

This workshop will introduce the brilliance that are your knees to you so that you can work with them instead of against them.

Ideally posture is dynamic which means that “holding” our posture is going to counter that directive.  Discover the brilliant design of your spine and how it’s function was created to allow you to have upright posture in gravity.

Injury Release Method

When an injury occurs in the body, especially an acute injury, the soft tissues of muscles, ligaments and tendons do heal, although often not completely.  However, without proper care, the nervous system remembers. This prevents not just complete healing of the tissues due to a protective bubble around the injury site, but an overall body tightening.

The shock of a sudden and intense pain, causes a response of the nervous system.  Through a series of processes, this stress response can be resolved.  The result is a return of sensation, proprioception, function and flexibility not just around the injury but throughout the whole body.

Up to 5 different injury sites can be resolved in one session.
