Why do I Want to Help Studio Owners?

The Short Answer: Because I was one! 

And I worked hard and struggled!

And honestly,  I think my hours trying to make the studio work was instrumental in the end of a 20 year marriage.

I want my 10 years in the trenches to mean something ongoing and to be able to truly support others who are doing the hard work of running a dance studio seems the perfect fit.

And it needs you to be happy, relaxed AND I know that means being Profitable!

I truly, deeply understand the unique challenges of being a studio owner.  From 1999-2009, I owned and operated the studio, Prism Dance Centre, in Port Moody, BC ( a suburb outside of Vancouver). I ran the studio all thru my 30's and while married.  I taught 6 days a week, as the only ballet, modern and musical theatre teacher.  I had at one point a staff of 12, and up to 250 families.  I don't know how people do it if they also choose to have children!!
I loved it and I am also happy to no longer have that responsibility.

Goal: Change how Guest Teaching is Done Worldwide

While I absolutely want to continue to travel the world and enjoy the unique energy of in person teaching, I also want to be in studio worldwide VIRTUALLY.

I do not need to be a full season teacher at any one studio.  However, I do have the capacity and eagerness to be an online faculty member of 100's of studios worldwide.  I'm well organized and good at juggling many opportunities.

With the wonderful world of technology, I can zoom in from around the world!   Time zones my not always be in sync, but I am extremely adaptable in this area should a LIVE Zoom be what you require for your students/teachers. 

Scheduling can be done so that it is during or outside of class time. 

Pre-Recorded Options means you can share with students in 2 different ways:

  1. In Studio with students watching together during regular class time.
  2. Student access for them to watch at home.  Completion can be monitored and shared with the lead teacher. 

Content Varieties

The course suite has been written and recorded to represent the foundations of Radiant Dancer/Dance Teacher method. 

There can be a discussion of the core offerings and understanding the application to your studio.   

After consultation sharing the greatest needs of the teachers, students and parents, courses can be created or adapted for your studio.

Remember your adult dancers too!! Especially the beginner adults who are keen and would be willing to take the time to go through an online course to accelerate their dancing.
