Intro to Imagery Mini-Course
Creating effective imagery is its own art form. This mini-course introduces basic concepts in the creation process, as well as how to assess effectiveness. Using the foundational concepts of development of dynamic posture and dynamic turn-out, these strategies are explored within this workshop.
Welcome to The Radiant Dance Teacher

Resources to Support You
There are many great resources to be shared and you'll want to check them all out!

Member Spotlights & Features
Sharing who you are and getting to know others is designed to build your support structure.
The Teaching Strategies & Tips will all be built upon the foundations the 3 pillars of The Radiant Dance Teacher.
- Integrated
- Embodied
- Expressive
A goal for most (probably safe to say "all") dance teachers is for our dancers to be expressive. But without being Embodied, you cannot be Expressive.
And without being Integrated (Mind-Body AND within the brain itself), you cannot be Embodied.
With that in mind, much of the strategies are about the creation of the Learning Environment so that students can be Integrated.
Effective use of Imagery is great for Integration, and therefore a great place to start.
And, while you care about your students, SELF-CARE is the foundation you need for all your great teaching to happen!

Current Offerings for Dance Teachers
With the recent award for Innovation, you may be asking "What is so Innovative?"
Both the Content and the Delivery!
It is NOT innovative to be available for in person guest teaching (that IS available!) but it is to offer certain topics online, including a studio programme.
New content is always being created. Finding out what fits your needs best for the next step on your journey can be a bit tricky to do.
In a future email, you will be guided through the various categories of created content so you can discover if any of them will serve your current needs.
You will also receive a survey so you can share what you are most interested in at this time.

A Great Resource to Share!
The Library Aesthetic Dance Media
Mariah-Jane is requested content creator for this new dance platform. It is like "Netflix" for dancers, helping both dancers and dance teachers to find the latest and trusted information to elevate their training.
Instead of swimming through the depths of the Youtube trying to find trusted information. And, especially for keen dancers, it can be truly dangerous to go to Youtube and follow incorrect advice.
