Artistic Director: Mariah-Jane Thies
Mariah-Jane has been teaching dance for 40 years, including 10 years running her own dance studio.
She branched out beyond traditional dance training looking for solutions for many of her questions. The result was certifications in Evans Laban based Modern Dance, licensure in both Brain Gym and Rhythmic Movement Training (Reflex Integration) and extensive studies in Body-Mind Centering and Touch for Health.
All of this additional training infuses her unique perspective on learning and teaching.
If you wish to learn more about Mariah-Jane's beliefs about movement and the origins of these beliefs, please check out her TEDx talk.
